王柏融確定旅外 桃猿宣布11月開始入札程序
桃猿隊巨砲王柏融，接下來的職棒生涯發展終於定案，桃猿隊今天宣佈在總冠軍賽結束後，將讓王柏融挑戰旅外，桃猿領隊劉玠廷表示，雖然先前中職沒有相關的入札程序，但會參考美日職棒的制度，選出條件最好的球隊，讓王柏融在世界舞台發揮更頂尖的實力。
今年中職最有機會旅外的球員，Lamigo桃猿隊球員王柏融終於確定確定即將旅外，領隊劉玠廷親自出席，宣布關於王柏融的旅外入札程序。
王柏融的旅外入札程序，將由Lamigo桃猿隊球團主導，入札程序分為三階段，第一階段由聯盟發送入札相關文件，第二階段由Lamigo球團接收國外球團的文件，並篩選有意願延攬王柏融的球隊，第三階段才由王柏融和經紀人做決定。
至於外媒報導日職羅德隊已經提出條件，對此領隊表示，還沒開始著手入札程序，所以沒有進一部消息。劉玠廷也表示，雖然沒有前例可以依循，但王柏融的旅外的事宜，球團會秉持著美日職棒入札的精神，並參考相關的規定和方式進行辦理。
桃猿宣佈以入札程序旅外，王柏融確定即將為旅外展開準備，先前曾傳出王柏融因為受傷所以決定不打台日交流賽，球團也表示王柏融沒有任何傷勢，正在積極備戰即將開打的中職總冠軍戰。

NBA例行賽進入尾聲，但剩餘賽程仍牽動季後賽對戰組合，騎士6日作客七六人，詹姆斯（LeBron James）與西蒙斯（Ben Simmons）都飆出大三元，騎士雖然一度克服落後30分的劣勢，可惜最後仍以130：132不敵七六人，不僅無緣6連勝，雙方排名還互換，騎士降居東區第四，七六人升至第三。
詹姆斯開賽手感不佳，前8次出手僅1中，且上半場發生5次失誤，使騎士一度陷入30分落後。但詹姆斯並不輕言放棄，下半場適時回神，單節包辦19分，率隊在第三節打出43：27的攻勢，將比分差縮至7分。
但第四節在最後1.9秒關鍵三罰僅一中，無緣將分數追平，終場騎士隊以2分差落敗。詹姆斯上場40分鐘，29投17中，三分球8投4中，奪下全場最高44分、11籃板、11助攻，拿下本季第18次「大三元」，但有8失誤。
本場另一焦點是七六人新秀西蒙斯（Ben Simmons），他奪下27分、15籃板、13助攻，完成本季第12次「大三元」，成為NBA史上在新人年獲得「大三元」次數第二高的球員，僅次於名人堂球星「大O」羅伯森（Oscar Robertson）的26次。詹姆斯與西蒙斯（Ben Simmons）互飆大三元，也讓這場比賽成為繼1983年4月5號魔術強生（Magic Johnson）與老湯普森（Mychal Thompson）後，NBA史上第二對同場互飆大三元的狀元。
七六人多點開花，共有6人得分雙位數，團隊齊心協力拿下13連勝，戰績則以49勝30負，衝上東區第三，擠下前三季都打進總冠軍賽的騎士；目前騎士以49勝31負居東區第四。
